Following an incredible experiment, Andrea (Favino), a brilliant neurosurgeon, and his wife Sofia (Smutniak), an ambitious TV host, suddenly find themselves in each other’s bodies. Forced to be in their partner’s shoes and everyday routine, this couple on the brink of separating are able to see their relationship from a completely different point of view. Among the funny situations that ensue, they face the dilemmas causing their marriage issues at last.
Debut director Simone Godano gives Italian comedy a breath of fresh air in this wonderfully funny and new take on the body swap comedy, using a surreal premise to deliver this surprisingly grounded and relatable exploration of modern love.
